Mūsu partnerskolas skolēniem Spānijā arī patīk daudzas un dažādas sporta spēles. Vienu no tām, sauktu terrero, spāņu skolēni nodemonstrē mums savā video.

Spēli parasti spēlē iekštelpās, bet to var darīt arī skolas sporta laukumā vai citur ārtelpās. Pamatideja: spēlētāji stāv aplī un cenšas panākt, lai pretinieks pieskaras grīdai vai smiltīm ar jebkuru ķermeņa daļu, izņemot pēdas. Spēlētāji izmanto dažādas tehnikas un paņēmienus, ko sauc mañas, lai pretinieks zaudētu līdzsvaru un pieskārtos grīdai. Tā turpina, līdz vienas komandas dalībnieki ir uzvarējuši!

Our self contained unit (IES SANTA LUCÍA) practising a very ancient traditional Canarian Sport, Lucha Canaria, or Canarian Wresting. Inicially it is an indoors sport, but it can also be practised outdoors.

How it is played: Wrestlers start in the middle of a sand circle, called terrero. The aim is to make their opponent touch the sand with any part of their body, except the feet. To accomplish this, they use different techniques called mañas to throw their opponent off balance. Two falls are required to win a bout. A match ends when all the members of one team have been defeated.
